How our private label reseller program works
As a private label reseller you get your own disk space, bandwidth and domain count (if a Windows account), from there you make your own plans and prices.
You bill and support your own clients; we give you tools such as the control panel and reseller forum to help you support your clients. It’s the reseller’s responsibility to find their own billing solution to bill their clients with, some billing software for recurring monthly billing include:
- Clientexec – www.clientexec.com
- ModernBill – www.modernbill.com
If there is a server issue or something you can’t answer feel free to send it over to our support department who will assist you.
Your client shouldn’t ever know that you have a reseller account with Spirit Connect, we’ve went to great lengths to ensure that everything is as private and anonymous as possible. Under no circumstances should your client ever contact us, if they do they’ll be turned away. Our reseller plans are quite a lot cheaper then our regular plans because we only have to bill and support you (our client) with removes a lot of extra costs. This key principle in particular has been built into our reseller model. If you’d rather a commission based model please contact sales for details.
Spirit Connect doesn’t support your “resold” clients directly, that is the reseller’s own responsibility.
Spirit Connect’s Responsibility
- Spirit Connect will do it’s best to provide 99.9% uptime
- Keep servers secure and up and running
- Support the reseller to the best of our ability, to assist them in solving technical issue with their accounts and assisting their clients
- Support and bill the reseller only
- Never contact resellers’ clients
The Resellers Responsibility
- Ensure billing is up to date with Spirit Connect
- Bill and support there own clients
- Where resellers don’t have the access to solve their client’s technical issues, they refer the problem to Spirit Connect's Customer Service Team via the Customer Portal.
- Reseller providers all necessary information as requested via the helpdesk staff to assist in resolving the issue.
