Most popular platform by far is the cPanel hosting Platform, as it offers simplicity and stability.
For first time web hosting customer the cPanel platform is the way to go.
However some clients prefer Windows 2003 based hosting, as it means they can run Active Server Pages (ASP); run ASP .NET Framework and other features only found on Windows machines. Compare the 2 styles platforms based on your requirements, if your unsure which platform is for you please feel free to contact us on what you plan on using your hosting account for and we can make a recommendation based on that.
Linux Hosting is perfect for most clients
If you're not sure which is the best hosting option for you, you should choose Linux hosting. secure, stable and packed with features, Linux is the best option unless you specifically require the features offered by Windows based hosting (such as ASP). Its also cheaper then Windows.

Many clients find Windows to be easier to use as a server operating system since they are familiar with it as a desktop operating system. Windows 2003 Server also offers the best support for other popular Microsoft technologies such as ASP, and the new .NET architecture. We support versons 1, 2 and 3 of the ASP .NET framework. Clients wishing to use ASP and/or .NET must choose the Windows platform.
