AussieHQ announces acquisition of Spirit Connect

CANBERRA, A.C.T. – December 1, 2009 – AussieHQ Pty Ltd, Australia’s fifth largest web hosting company, announced today that it has recently completed the acquisition of Spirit Connect Pty Ltd.

Founded in 2002, Spirit Connect provides a full range of services including web site hosting on Windows and Linux hosting platforms, email hosting, domain registration and dedicated servers.

As part of the acquisition, Brenden Cruikshank has relocated to Canberra to join the AussieHQ team.

Spirit Connect customers have been merged and integrated in to the AussieHQ brand, and will benefit directly from a wider range of service provisions including 24 hour Australian-based phone support and AussieHQ’s state-of-the-art web hosting technologies.
